Électromechanic Night Shift
Main Responsibilities
- Identifying priorities to optimize production. Managing breakdown emergencies that stop production;
- During inspection (visual and otherwise), being able to identify a noisy, worn, or even broken part slowing down production;
- Ensuring preventive and adequate overall maintenance of production equipment (lubrication, cleaning filters, condenser, calibrations);
- Managing work schedules to always be “in control” of stops, thus minimizing production delays. Able to prevent these delays;
- Analysing breakdown and malfunction causes and ensuring repair of packaging machinery;
- Proceeding with the scheduled interventions stated in the preventive plan;
- Suggesting and proceeding with any modification or adaptation to improve equipment (reliability, quality, safety, performance);
- Participating in the implementation of new equipment and operators’ training;
- Respecting periodical maintenance schedule, in compliance with manufacturer’s standards, according to wear and calibration stability.
Requirements
- “DEP” (DVS) electrical mechanics;
- None to three years of experience as electrical mechanic;
- Experience in the optical field, an asset;
- Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics;
- Versatile and responsible;
- Available and adaptable, able to work in a team;
- Organization and priority management skills, self-reliant, able to take initiatives;
- Good knowledge of French and English.
