Électromechanic Night Shift

Main Responsibilities

• Identifying priorities to optimize production. Managing breakdown emergencies that stop production;
• During inspection (visual and otherwise), being able to identify a noisy, worn, or even broken part slowing down production;
• Ensuring preventive and adequate overall maintenance of production equipment (lubrication, cleaning filters, condenser, calibrations);
• Managing work schedules to always be “in control” of stops, thus minimizing production delays. Able to prevent these delays;
• Analysing breakdown and malfunction causes and ensuring repair of packaging machinery;
• Proceeding with the scheduled interventions stated in the preventive plan;
• Suggesting and proceeding with any modification or adaptation to improve equipment (reliability, quality, safety, performance);
• Participating in the implementation of new equipment and operators’ training;
• Respecting periodical maintenance schedule, in compliance with manufacturer’s standards, according to wear and calibration stability.

Requirements

• “DEP” (DVS) electrical mechanics;
• None to three years of experience as electrical mechanic;
• Experience in the optical field, an asset;
• Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics;
• Versatile and responsible;
• Available and adaptable, able to work in a team;
• Organization and priority management skills, self-reliant, able to take initiatives;
• Good knowledge of French and English.
