Order Picking

Mission

The New Look Vision Group is currently looking for a Order Picking technician who will have the mandate to ensure the logistics of orders in progress while respecting established procedures and standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Follow up on orders by importing and faxing orders to the correct recipients;
• Import orders and print them;
• Take out the lenses and place the orders in the cabarets;
• Assign the cabarets to the various orders;
• Administer orders that have problems in the computer system;
• Transmit orders to subcontractors electronically and ensure follow-up;
• Receive orders from external suppliers and communicate with them when errors arise;
• Store lenses in designated locations;
• Respond to emails regularly in order to take action quickly and minimize errors;
• Perform other tasks in the various departments of the laboratory and the distribution center as needed.

Requirements  

• In-depth knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel;
• Experience in inventory management, an asset;
• Experience in order management, an asset;
• Good computer skills;
• Knowledge of DVI software, an asset;
• Good knowledge of French;
• Functional English;
• Knowledge of optics, an asset;
• Be autonomous and meticulous;
• Ensure effective management of its work.
