Assistant supervisor

This position acts as an intermediary between production supervisors and production technicians (laboratory technicians). His role is to support the supervisor in order to ensure the training of technicians, the application of work procedures and the smooth running of the laboratory.



  • Supervision Assistance Component:
  • Identify bottlenecks and take action to reduce them;
  • Supervise and train new technicians in production procedures, quality and the use of work tools;Participate in department continuous improvement projects and propose solutions;
  • Participate in the analysis and resolution of quality and productivity issues;
  • Assist the supervisor in ASD execution and breakage management;
  • Work closely with supervisors in other departments and with the quality control team;
  • Perform TSA on shift, handover with next shift supervisor and send production reports to Production Supervisor Absence Management Team;.
  • Ensure to answer questions and needs of co-workers and follow up with production supervisor as required;
  • Audit laboratory technicians in terms of working procedures in terms of lens quality and working methods;
  • Replace technicians during their breaks as required;
  • Ensure compliance and compliance with the flow;
  • Consult your immediate manager before making an important decision;
  • Perform lab technician work to support production;
  • Ensure the application of production and quality standards and procedures;
  • Complete production and supply manufacturing lines as required;
  • Perform required activities in accordance with established policies, work procedures, training, standards and standards;
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as directed by his/her immediate manager;



  • High School Diploma (General) (SSD);
