Since 2013 NVG’s store network has increased from 70 to 470 locations, primarily by way of acquisition, and its enterprise value has increased by over 10x, from approximately $100 million to in excess of $1 billion. This has resulted in significant value creation for its shareholders. During this same period, significant investments have been made in the existing store network, new stores, the laboratory, warehouse and distribution centre


Position Summary

The Warehouse Helper assists with all aspects of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, and inventory.


  • Receive and sort incoming boxes received from suppliers according to their Purchase Orders;
  • Store items by model/colour/size in an accessible manner in the warehouse;
  • Match the suppliers ‘invoice with the purchase order;
  • Insure the eyeglass frames match the information written on the labels;
  • Double check the work in order to minimize the risk of errors;
  • Label the goods;
  • Pick orders;
  • Issue eyeglass frames for use by the various stores (New Look, Greich & Scaff, Iris, etc) for sale to the public through a scan


  • High School Diploma or any equivalent experience
  • 0-1 year of experience
  • Fluent in French and a basic knowledge of English
  • Sense of priorities;
  • Speed of execution;
  • Reliable;
  • Computer skills;
  • Forklift license (an asset);
  • Be meticulous and precise;
  • Organized;
